It's tough working in healthcare.  The Covid-19 pandemic has highlighted how stretched our health systems are, and this is impacting the people on the front line, our healthcare workers and patients.  Unfortunately, our health IT have not stepped up to help healthcare providers get the most from health data or help them do their job.   This needs to change.   I've sat there frustrated by the antiquated software and have been in a position where the right information would have reduced suffering and helped save a life.  Health IT needs to improve to the point where it no longer hinders clinicians and helps them make better decisions.
